Belly Band and Heartburn - not related

I've been getting questions about what a belly band is (I mentioned it in a previous posting). It is a stretchy tube of fabric that mimics the fabric part of maternity pants. It really helps for too big for regular pants, not quite ready for maternity pants phase. Check out the website:

I started getting heartburn more regularly, which can be really annoying. I've been really trying to stay seated after dinner (instead of laying on the couch), drinking ginger mint tea, and eating ginger snaps. This seems to help a lot of digestion and to minimize the heartburn. Otherwise, I got a big bottle of Tums when the ginger doesn't work.

I'm glad the belly band is working for you! My friend Christy brought back mine so if you want to use another let me know.

Enjoy the heartburn :) I had only tiny bursts of heartburn when I was pregnant. It usually struck me during the night.

Actually, I haven't had to use it yet, but I take it to work with me in case my pants feel uncomfortable after lunch

I was just going through a drawer and found a bunch of bras (in varying styles and sizes) so if you want to borrow those you can. some are large, some are small--I have a bra for all needs :)
