Baby Obsessed

Jared is baby obsessed!  I don't think that I am pushing baby stuff on him, so I'm not sure where this is coming from.
Jared loves to lift up my shirt to show my belly.  He likes to rub my belly and put his ear up against it - maybe he can hear something I can't. :)  Maybe he thinks that my slightly inverted belly button (something else happening a lot faster in this pregnancy) is the baby coming out of my belly?  I think he'll enjoy it when he can feel the baby moving.
Jared loves to check out the babies sleeping in the carriers when we go to the playground.  He has been know to sprint across the playground, saying "Baby!  Baby!" to check on some random baby.
He loved checking out our friends' 2 month old when we went to visit.  About every 15 minutes or so, he would take a break from playing to go check on the baby sleeping in her crib.  I told Jared that he was disturbing the baby's sleep, but he loved checking on her.  He got really confused when the baby was in her swing or chair.  Jared would look at her there, then go back to the crib where she used to be napping.
He is very cute, and will be a great big brother.

When we were in Philly, I had a mini-Girl's weekend (a few hours) with my college friends Dianna and Maggie.  We went to paint pottery, which we hadn't done in a few years.  It was great to get together with the girls to chat!  Although, I was very intimidated by the little girls painting pottery at the next table - they were really good!  Our stuff must have not been too shabby though, since one girl called us "artists" as we were leaving.  I think we all got a good kick out of that!

My Great Aunt Peg came to visit us last weekend.  It was great, since she has been trying to meet Jared his whole life, but stuff kept coming up.  Jared really liked Aunt Peg, and I hope we can all get together again soon.

We have also been exploring our county's parks.  One of them is right on the Chesapeake Bay with a small historical battery.  It's like a mini-Ft. McHenry, and a lot quicker to get to.  Jared was fascinated by the waves on the beach, and loved checking out all of the boats on the Bay.  We'll have to go back with a picnic and our kites soon.

I can't believe my little guy will be 2 years old soon!  The time does fly!
There are a few new pictures posted for you to enjoy.
